Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Trainer to join our team. The Nurse Trainer will play a crucial role in educating and training nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a part-time position that will be supervised by our Healthcare Services Administrator

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs for program staff on various medical procedures and protocols
- Provide hands-on training in specialized areas as needed to meet participant medical needs
- Conduct training sessions on medication administration
- Educate staff on working with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health issues, and in primary care settings
- Conduct training for program staff on CPR/First Aid
- Train nurses on OR protocols and best practices

Requirements
- Active nursing license in MN and ND
- Proven experience in nursing education and training
- Strong knowledge of medical procedures, patient care protocols, and healthcare systems
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed during training sessions
- Familiarity with catheter care, dialysis, specimen collection processing, and primary care practices
